Fixtures International has over 110,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehousing space at our location just north of downtown Houston. Here, we stock our distribution merchandise and handle all phases of production for our manufactured goods. Actual production begins in our state-of-the-art machine room, which is equipped with computer-operated point-to-point machines, beam saws, and edgebanders. The cut pieces then generally move on to our assembly benches, where our skilled cabinetmakers put the pieces together and prepare them for finishing. After assembly, the units move into the finish department, where they will be primed and sprayed in our fully enclosed paint booths, and carefully hand-cleaned to ensure a superior finish. Our full-service glazing department adds lights, locks, and of course, glass to the units, using precision measurements and years of experience to ensure clarity and beauty. After final approval by the project manager, the shipping department carefully prepares units for delivery by the most expedient method. With six docks working daily, there's always plenty of activity coupled with plenty of organization in the shipping department. |
